Recipe: Green Smoothie

Leafy greens are best eaten raw because it retains those precious vitamins and minerals which are so important to our diet. A smoothie is a great way to make these ingredients more interesting by adding other sweeter ingredients such as kiwi or lemon. You could even experiment with your own ingredients. Give it a try.



Serves 2


  • 1 handful of spinach

  • 1 stick of celery

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 5g fresh ginger

  • 120g cucumber

  • 1/2 avocado

  • 1 kiwi

  • 300ml water (crushed ice optional)

  • Honey to taste


Place all ingredients in blender starting with water first and spinach last. Blend until smooth.
