Wellbeing experts turning New Year’s resolutions into long-term success

Updated: Feb 11, 2022

Two north east businesses have come together to double up on results for their clients’ healthy eating habits. Hummingbird Hypnotherapy and Vagus Wellbeing are offering a unique 8-week program, going way beyond willpower and dietary restriction by helping to create a change in mindset for long-term physical and mental health.

The ‘Body and Mind in Balance’ programme uses a combination of hypnotherapy and nutritional therapy coaching, where clients benefit from a deep understanding of their motivations and behaviours as a force for breaking habits of a lifetime. Providing four sessions each of guided hypnotherapy and nutritional therapy every two weeks, clients will learn what works for their body on a personal level, with their body and mind working together to create a sustainable and healthy way of eating.

Many of us have slipped into negative habits during lockdown impacting our wellbeing. The programme is suitable for all sorts of problems such as comfort eating, stress & anxiety, pain, and insomnia. The diet and food industry would suggest that eating habits are solely our personal responsibility, but in fact processed foods are hijacking our physiology, making them almost impossible to resist.

“The ethos of how we help people is so aligned, it was impossible to ignore the benefits of coming together for our clients”, says the pair, “The way the programme is structured is to educate and empower in equal measure”.

Silvia of Hummingbird Hypnotherapy says “Eating habits are inevitably linked to life experiences which can be harmful to our physical and mental health. Hypnotherapy provides the opportunity to deal with these issues and remove unhelpful beliefs and barriers to wellbeing."

Nutritional Therapist Julie adds, “It’s not just about what you eat but how, when and why we eat. Food is information for every single cell in our body, but equally we need to tackle appetite, cravings and mood."

The programme begins Monday 10th January with limited availability. To learn more about this unique collaboration, you can join a complimentary webinar via Eventbrite on Tuesday 28 December at 6pm, more details and booking links available at www.hummingbirdhypnotherapy.net/bodyandmind and www.vaguswellbeing.co.uk/bodyandmind
